Shooting (the basics)

We have always been HUGE advocates of shooting being the primary differentiation between winning and losing.

Here is the logic and the basics!!!

Off-Season Dribbling Drills

Some players practice all summer and never get any better, while others improve dramatically. Why? It’s has to do with practicing correctly, or what you really need to practice to improve. All players need to work on (1) ball handling skills, (2) shooting, (3) work under the backboard, (4) offensive moves (FINISHing) as well as (5) free-throw shooting.

It is possible to find time, and space, to practice at home, four or five days a week. Just playing in a summer league won’t do a lot to help your fundamentals.

Let’s start with a great dribbling routine you can do in your garage while it is raining or on the sidewalk (which is a great place to minimize “side2side” movement and focus on going downhill).
